The 2009 ACI Philippines Annual Convention will be held in Cebu on April 24-26, 2009. The following are the Convention guidelines:
I. HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
1. All convention delegates and guests will be billeted at Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa during the period. Room assignments and meal stubs will be given out upon registration.
2. Meals will be served only to certified meal stub holders. Please bring your meal stubs at all times to avoid embarrassment.
3. Orders for food and drinks outside of regular meals and any other incidental personal charges will be for the account of the delegate. These MUST be settled in cash or in acceptable credit cards upon check-out. In the case of twin-sharing and triple-sharing rooms, the last person to check-out will be responsible for the settlement of his/ her room’s account.
4. Check-out time is at 12:00 Noon.
II. DEPARTURE/ARRIVAL
1. Please be at the airport at least one and a half (1 ½) hours before the scheduled departure time. PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE HEAVY TRAFFIC ENROUTE TO THE AIRPORT.
2. PAL passengers should proceed as usual to the new centennial airport terminal 2 while those taking CEBU PACIFIC should proceed to NAIA terminal 3.
3. Shuttle/bus transfers from the airport to the hotel and back to the airport have been pre-arranged for the use of the ACI Phils. official delegates. Please note, however, that your convention ID’s are your passports to these facilities.
III. HOTEL AMENITIES
The following have been extended to all official delegates and guests by Shangri-La's Mactan Resort and Spa:
- Complimentary drink upon arrival
- Complimentary use of swimming pools
- Complimentary use of Health Club facilities such as the fitness gym, steam, sauna and Jacuzzi
- Complimentary broadband internet access in the room
- Complimentary shuttle to the city and shopping centers on scheduled trips (first come-first served basis)
- Complimentary coffee and tea making facilities in each guest room with sachets provided and replenished daily.
- Two (2) complimentary bottles of mineral water in all guest rooms, replenished daily. Water served at the restaurant outlets is potable.
IV. FUN NIGHT
Immediately after dinner on 25 April 2009, the Fellowship Committee's Fun Night activities will commence! Expect lots of fun, drinking and dancing.
V. CONVENTION SCHEDULE
Attached is the Year 2009 Convention Schedule and Program for your guidance. The dress code for the Convention Proper is SMART CASUAL.
